2027 DEKA FIT East Midlands

About this event

Staged indoors at Derby Arena, DEKA FIT features ten functional fitness zones interspersed with 500m runs, creating an unbroken 5km challenge. Athletes tackle RAM lunges, rowing, box step-overs, med ball sit-up throws, SkiErg, farmer's carries, air bike calories, dead ball wall overs, sled pushes and pulls, and RAM burpees. Individual waves run on Saturday, while team heats follow on Sunday, alongside a specialised Ruck division carrying 30lb for men and 20lb for women. Elite and Age Group categories allow competitors to target global ranking points and world championship qualification, while open heats welcome all fitness backgrounds. The venue provides changing areas, secure bag drop, and a festival village with vendors and spectator viewing. Waves set off every 15 minutes across the weekend.
